Moving On to 56 and "Mature Skin"

I have what is now referred to as “mature skin”. What this means is that I am no longer free to ignore it as I did in my 20’s and 30’s. Today I am a believer in the essential use of organics, be they ingested or applied to your skin. How many times do we look back at products used by our mothers or us as kids or young women and wonder what happened to so many of them? When was the last time you read the label on your favorite beauty product and even understood what was in it? MSN published a version of this post regarding toxic ingredients in beauty products. So You Long To Be Married. You Are Not Ready!

This blog is dedicated to all of you that have been struggling for a short time or a long time to grab the golden ring, or white gold even platinum if you will. But are you ready. Relationships are a lovely thing, hey love is a lovely thing, but by itself it means nothing. So here is how you know you are not ready. You've never successfully lived on your own. And when you buy food, really you're already a slob now you're going to put that crap in your body. You think it's...

Why I so enjoyed not having employees for the last decade. And shall I say it ladies, you are the worst. Good grief how many times can we talk about our kids or the drama in our lives. There is nothing worse than inheriting staff, good, bad or a pain in the ass your stuck with trying to get them up to speed or firing them and any good business person knows the cost of turnover. My youngest try's to convince me that I don't get the 20, 30 something generation. What I don't get are grownups that act like children, worse yet like they're still in high school. Clicks, drama, back stabbing...the "who I know" because I'm in the know...what...really. I think it's a reality that were I to fire someone I could find a better replacement that doesn't come with veiled threats and would keep their head in the job. How about this. Show up on time every day. Dress for sucess, that's business casual, not business whore Put your cell phone away. Stay off ...
